Technology
Technology is an important tool that is integrated into the education of the students at Crestmoor. Each classroom contains between five and eight imacs for student use. These computers have access to the following software:

- Scholastic Reading Counts
- Scholastic Reading Inventory
- Type to Learn
- Stationary Studio
- Lexia
- Kid Pix
- Inspiration
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Powerpoint
- Quarter Mile
Adjacent to the library is a computer lab with Apple iMac DVD special
edition computers connected to the Internet. Students receive class
instruction as well as have access for individual projects when they
have demonstrated competency. Responsible behavior is expected for the
privilege of using the computers. Parent volunteers are always needed
to help in the lab.
Classroom teachers have laptop computers and LCD projectors to input grades, communicate with parents, write lesson plans, and provide instruction.
A brand new mobile computer lab has been purchased through funds raised
by the community, the PTA, a grant, and local businesses. This laptop
cart contains 32 ibooks, a printer, and an LCD projector.
