Live Homework Help Online Tutoring Service
The San Mateo County Library is pleased to announce the continuation of an after school tutoring service for students in 4th through 12th grades. Live Homework Help is an online tutoring service done by expert tutors. Tutors go through an extensive screening and certification process. Students connect to tutors for one-to-one homework help sessions. The service is FREE for all students, although a student must have a San Mateo County Library card to gain access. The service is supported by a grant from the California State Libraries.
Help from certified teacher turos is available in the following areas:
- Math
- English/Language Arts
- Reading
- Science
- Social Studies
Live Homework Help is offered through the InterNet. Students can access help from home, the library, or on campus after school. During the 2006-07 school year there were over one million (1,000,000) LiveHomeworkHelp sessions. Over 90% of the students who filled out an end-of-the-year survey reported that the service helped them get good grades.

10:00 PM (PST)
Spanish (Español): Sunday through Thursday from

7:00 PM)
