What is the PTA?
The PTA at El Crystal School is a group of hard-working, dedicated parents providing support to the parents, teachers, students, and programs at El Crystal School. We want to help the school provide the best possible education for our children. Our goal is 100% membership. Your involvement in the PTA is needed during this upcoming school year.

How to Get Involved

First, join the PTA. You will receive a membership envelope during the first two weeks of school. Your membership helps fund the many programs we provide El Crystal School. Next consider helping with the list of activities listed below that we sponsor.

Art Appreciation
Parent volunteers needed to help Art instruction. You can teach or help set up and clean up after the art lesson.

Book Fair
During the last week in May we sponsor a Book Fair. Help is needed setting up and taking down the display. Adult assistance is needed during the week to help students select and pay for books. On the evening of Spring Sing we need additional assistance monitoring the book fair and helping parents and students select and purchase books, posters, and other items.

Pancake Breakfast
This annual event is very popular. Held on a Saturday morning, many families come out to meet and greet each other while enjoying a hearty breakfast. Volunteers are always needed.

Movie Nights
Two times per year we sponsor a Movie Night in the school cafeteria. Help is always needed with this fun event.

Spirit Days, Spirit Wear, Assemblies, Teacher Mini-Grants, Staff Appreciation Week, Family Day, Welcome Back to School Reception, Yearbook, Student Recognition, Various Fundraisers, Founder’s Day Awards, Supplies for Library, Technology Support, Gifts to School (Printers, Computers, PE Supplies, etc.), Field Day & All School Picnic, and Field Trips…
