WHAT IS THE PORTOLA PTA?
Portola School has a very active Parent-Teacher Association chapter.
The purpose of this group is to establish a working relationship between
the home and the school. All parents are invited to participate by joining
and becoming actively involved in its activities. Meetings are held
monthly at school (on the third Thursday), and are announced in the
Pawprint. Meetings are usually held in the faculty room. Executive board
meetings are usually held before a PTA meeting. Our board includes a
president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer as well as various
committee chairpersons for special activities.. We encourage you to
get involved in any way you can. Our September Back to School night
will include a "Volunteer Fair" where you can learn.
